Not Filed the ITR on Due date? Can it be done now?

The Due date to file your ITR for the FY 2019-20 was extended to 10th January 2021 for non Audit taxpayers. If you have not Filed it on time it can be filed upto 31st March 2021 by paying Late fees and Interest. Let us understand these in detail below.
Late Fees:
ITR can be submitted after 10th Jan 2020, by paying penalty upto Rs.10,000/- as follows

Interest:
Taxpayers filing belated Return need to Pay Interest at the rate of 1% for every month, or part of a month, on the amount of tax remaining unpaid as per section 234A. there are interest u/s 234B and 234C of non-payment of Advance Tax
Last date for Belated Returns:
Last date for submission of Belated Return is 31st March 2021. After this date Filing of Income tax Return for Financial Year 2019-20 is not possible.
